looking for that classic, traditional temple look with the authentic South Indian tiered gopuram, this Rajlaxmi mandir is hard to beat. The solid Sheesham wood has a very warm, grounding presence in the room. It doesn't look like mass-produced modern furniture; you can actually see the craftsmanship in the pillars and carvings. It is quite heavy and sturdy, and the storage cabinets underneath make daily upkeep much easier. Very happy to have a piece like this at home.
We wanted a traditional South Indian style temple with a proper gopuram design for our new house, and the Rajlaxmi mandir fits the space nicely. The solid Sheesham wood gives it a rich look, and the natural grain is clearly visible. It has a good heavy feel to it, unlike light plywood mandirs. this solid wood pooja mandir definitely gives the pooja corner a traditional, peaceful look.
