The solid Sheesham wood has a very warm, grounding presence in the room. It doesn't look like mass-produced modern furniture; you can actually see the craftsmanship in the pillars and carvings. It is quite heavy and sturdy, and the storage cabinets underneath make daily upkeep much easier. Very happy to have a piece like this at home.
